As a supplement to the Proctor line of
Museums Scale Kits the
Fokker
EIII
was developed in 1993. The
Fokker
kit is equipped as all Proctor kits are equipped, high quality
selected wood, pre shaped parts (bulkheads, bars, ribs, etc.)
ready to be glued in place. Internally you will find the
original structure, but wooden for a better handling and light
weight instead metal
tubes to be soldered. The undercarriage is pre -bent and
soldered. The wing tips are also pre- bent and ready to be glued
in place.
The aluminium
engine cowling has its characteristic cut out to allow engine
cooling. In addition the kit provides aluminium sheeting to
cover the fwd. fuselage. Numerous fittings and a pair of wheels
finally complete this Proctor kit.
As usual for
Proctor they have added a second to none building instruction
(English language) with many stage to stage photographs.
Steering along
its longitudinal axes can be accomplished by wing twisting.
With really only some minor adjustments
to your selected original which one has always to do because no
aircraft was identical to the other at that time, you will be
able to score high at a scale competition.
